Smoked Gouda Bechamel

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter, saute the garlic, then whisk in the flour to create a roux. Continue whisking while adding the milk and cream. Continue whisking and cooking until the sauce begins to thicken.
  2. Reduce the heat to low, then whisk in the paprika, nutmeg, horseradish sauce. Season to taste.
  3. Stir in the cheese a small handful at a time and continue stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce has thickened.
